Innovation in the MIPYMES sector in Latin America becomes one of its main limitations that prevent generating sustained growth, in decent sources of employment for the national market. In this article we analyze the question that seeks to establish the state of the culture of innovation, for this purpose a field research of descriptive type is applied. In Addition, sufficient data on the culture of innovation in tourist complexes through the use and application of the InnoQuotient Questionnaire. The results allowed us to determine that from a global perspective, the enterprises have an Innovation Quotient of 9.33, categorized as excellent and the least attention given to the “behaviors” factor. Finally, we conclude that, the service provider’s entrepreneurs, give the least attention to the “behaviors” block, that is, the impulse, commitment and facilitation to produce a culture of innovation.
