Abstract

The scarce information on the diagnosis of the ABS brake system constitutes one of the main limitations in automotive workshops, preventing a timely and effective diagnosis, resulting in the replacement of unnecessary system parts. Given this, the present investigation is carried out with the purpose of satisfying the needs that arise in some workshops in the city of Santo Domingo on the correct process when diagnosing a fault that is shown in the icon on the dashboard of the vehicle that gives to know about the ABS system that is identified by the Automotive Scanner and in this way we can rule out certain unnecessary steps in a diagnosis is to consider that to carry out this work it will be done through training to the collaborators of Tecnicentro Don William on the facilities of using the brand scanner when making a diagnosis, it should be emphasized that this information was obtained through a survey and investigations, but it is known that personal biosecurity measures were applied.
